Bottlecup is family owned and run by two entrepreneurs - Kate & Mark Arnell - who have been aspiring to live their zero waste values for over 10 years, avoiding plastics and other potentially toxic materials where they can in their home life. They wanted to create a solution to their daily conundrum of conveniently remembering and carrying their reusable cup. Whilst maintaining a values led approach to quality, materials and the end of life of the product. 

Imagine a business meeting in a (well-known chain) coffee house in London in 2017. Meeting a contact for the first time - remember 1st impressions count! - Mark arrived complete with laptop, pen, pad of paper, wallet, keys, water bottle and reusable coffee cup all neatly balanced in his hands. Walking up to the table Mark lost his grip and cup, bottle, keys and pen spilt over the table and bounced around the floor! The response from his colleague provided a light bulb moment... leading the way to a convenient way to carry and remember your reusable cup each and every day!
